Deed-Chek supports the following distance units:
- Feet
- Feet (International)
- Feet and Inches
- Meters
- Chains & Links
- Poles

- Rods
- Links
- Varas
- Texas Varas

Units are selected from the Units drop-down list on the toolbar. In addition you can enter any type of unit on the fly by using its distance code. For example 12C for chains, or 50m for meters.
Units can be changed at any time. For example, you can enter a deed in perches, then with two mouse clicks, display the map in feet.
Areas are displayed in square feet and acres, or when using meters it is displayed in square meters and hectares.
